Marvels third and final 2017 release is merely over a week away from release but the studio isn't waiting around and have dropped the official, full-length trailer for the first of their 2018 projects: Black Panther.

Marvel released the trailer earlier this afternoon, and it has been embedded below for you to check out in it all of its glory:
We haven't seen a huge amount from Black Panther but everything we have seen thus far - including this latest trailer - promises something very exciting. I'm very much looking forward to this film for a number of reasons, but mainly given the talent involved, especially Ryan Coogler's attachment, and his style and his sense of commandment and cool can really be felt in this trailer. The film looks action-packed, vibrant and soaked with style and I, personally, cannot wait for February to arrive now because this looks like it's going to be awesome.

Accompanying the reveal, Chadwick Boseman also took to Twitter to unveil a new poster for Black Panther and whilst it certainly doesn't feel as cool as the poster of our eponymous hero standing on the head of a Panther statute overlooking Wakanda, it's certainly a step above the first, poorly photo-shopped poster we got for the film with the teaser - it's better than most of Marvel's overstuffed, messy poster designs of late in general, to be honest. Kudos to you Marvel, you're learning.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
“Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, with Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler & Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay.  Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” hits theatres on February 16, 2018.
