DC made big waves at Comic-Con earlier, with a great new Justice League trailer, and now their TV-verse is following suit as the first look trailer for Season 4 of The CW's The Flash zooms in.

The trailer for the latest season of the hit The CW show was unveiled during this year's San Diego Comic-Con and now it has arrived online so check it out below:

When Team Flash finally took down Savitar at the end of season 3, their moment of happiness was joyous but brief when the season ended on quite the emotional note. Ever since, I've been very intrigued to see where the show goes in its fourth season; if the cliffhanger will be resolved in the first episode, similarly to what was done with Flashpoint at the start of last season, or if it would have more concrete consequences for the future of the show.

I'm certainly loving this first-look teaser. It's short and sweet and doesn't give much away but it's very interesting, nonetheless. It seems that trouble is brewing for Team Flash and I'm very excited to see which direction this show is going to go in this coming season. Grant Gustin mentioned that the show is going to be "getting its fun quotient back up" - something certainly lacking last year's more sombre, more intense season. And this trailer certainly teases that fun and lightheartedness and it looks very, very promising.
