Whilst we're all still reeling from all of the Comic-Con madness from last week, the new trailer for the latest adaptation of Stephen King's IT is here, ready to scare us and leave us struggling to sleep.

Warner Bros. Pictures debuted the trailer earlier today, so check it out below:
I love Stephen King and have actually, very recently just finished reading his 1300+ page epic that is IT and it's such a brilliant and disturbing novel. Thankfully, it looks like Warner Bros. and director Andrés Muschietti have translated it to the big-screen perfectly because the film looks genuinely terrifying and chilling. Pennywise himself, played by Bill Skarsgård, looks so utterly scary and nightmarish and I'm just loving all of the vibes that the marketing thus far - and this new trailer, especially - have been giving us. Becuase this looks intense. Very intense.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
