One of the biggest surprises of the past few years was 2015's outstanding Kingsman: The Secret Service. Naturally, its follow-up, this year's The Golden Circle, comes with much anticipation. Well, the first trailer and poster are in.

The first trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle debuted on Conan, but 20th Century Fox have released it online it all its punchy, epic glory. So, without further ado, check it out below:

Kingsman: The Secret Service was one of my favourite films of 2015 because it was so funny, epic and just fresh - for a spy film, especially in a year that was so stacked with releases in that genre. The Golden Circle looks like more of the same - and that's high praise. Eggsy is back, funnier and more badass than ever; there is a stellar ensemble along for the ride; the action looks as epic and downright spectacular as it was before and it's just as audacious as ever. The Secret Service put a fun, fresh twist on the spy formula, reinvigorating the genre, and this looks to continue that in a truly awesome manner and I cannot wait.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
“Kingsman: The Secret Service" introduced the world to Kingsman - an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In "Kingsman: The Golden Circle," our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents' strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy...
With Matthew Vaughn returning to the helm, and starring Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Mark Strong, Jeff Bridges, and Julianne Moore, Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits cinemas on September 29th, 2017.
