Just yesterday, we saw actor Jaeden Lieberher in the first trailer for the terrifying IT and now he stars as the titular Henry in Colin Trevorrow's  latest film, following on from 2015's Jurassic World: The Book of Henry. And the poster and trailer are in.

Focus Features have debuted the first official trailer for Trevorrow's forthcoming film, which stars Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay of Room fame. Check it out below:
The Book of Henry looks very much like a welcomed return to indie roots for Colin Trevorrow, after he tackled the giant $1 billion grossing giant that was Jurassic World. What I love about the trailer is the family dynamic between Watts, Tremblay - both who starred in last year's horror Shut In together - and Liberher. However, I also was not expecting the trailer to go in the direction that it did and I love that thriller element that has been thrown in here too. It certainly looks like a really intriguing film that could be something great when it releases this Summer.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
Sometimes things are not always what they seem, especially in the small suburban town where the Carpenter family lives. Single suburban mother Susan (Naomi Watts) works as a waitress at a diner, alongside feisty friend Sheila (Sarah Silverman). Her younger son Peter (Jacob Tremblay) is a playful 8-year-old. Taking care of everyone and everything is Susan’s older son Henry (Jaeden Lieberher), age 11. Protector to his adoring younger brother and tireless supporter of his often self-doubting mother – and, through investments, of the family – Henry blazes through the days like a comet. Susan discovers that the family next door, which includes Henry’s kind classmate Christina (Maddie Ziegler), has a dangerous secret – and that Henry has devised a surprising plan to help. As his brainstormed rescue plan for Christina takes shape in thrilling ways, Susan finds herself at the center of it.
With Colin Trevorrow at the helm, and starring Naomi Watts, Jacob Tremblay, Jaden Lieberher, Sarah Silverman, Dean Norris, Maddie Ziegler, and Lee Pace, The Book of Henry opens in cinemas on June 16th, 2017.
