If you thought Marvel couldn't top their awesome Guardians Vol. 2 teaser from last week, the studio has just gone and debuted the teaser trailer for next Summer's Spider-Man: Homecoming and have done just that, because it's just as amazing (pun intended).

We were introduced to Tom Holland's show-stealing Spidey earlier this year, in Civil War. However, whilst he was only in that for a fraction of the film, he'll get a chance to shine in his own solo outing next Summer. Marvel Studios have debuted the teaser for Homecoming, so check it out:

And here's the international trailer, with some different footage and more Vulture and Tony Stark:

Director Jon Watts and the team at Marvel have constantly teased that Spider-Man: Homecoming will feel very much like a John Hughes-esque High School film and, from this trailer, that certainly feels evident. I love the style and tone of this picture - this feels like Spidey ripped straight out of the comics; witty one-liners and so youthful and innocent. The reveal is short but teases plenty more of the great heart, humour and super fun action we loved from Holland in Civil War. Oh, and just a damn entertaining film in general! I cannot wait.

Plot details surrounding the film are still quite thin and this teaser certainly doesn't give too much away but it sets up the basic gist of the premise and gives us enough to get us super excited to see this film. I'm a big Spider-Man fan and am so over-joyed to see what looks like the most accurate and just best solo film featuring the character yet - which says something saying I adore Sam Raimi's original trilogy. Homecoming will feature Peter dealing with his powers at their prime, juggling being a superhero with being a high-school student. Michael Keaton will also star as iconic Spidey villain Vulture and Robert Downey Jr. will be back as Tony Stark too - both who see in this trailer, kicking ass. It's so exciting!

Here's the official synopsis:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.  Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
With Jon Watts at the helm, and starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Laura Harrier, Donald Glover, Angourie RiceJon Favreau, Marisa TomeiRobert Downey Jr., and Michael Keaton, Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into cinemas on July 7th, 2017.
