As we approach the end of 2016, many of next year's big releases have begun to really kick off their marketing campaign, with plenty of images, posters and trailers all releasing alike. One BIG release that has just received a new trailer and posters is Kong: Skull Island.

Back in July, we got our first look at the forthcoming King Kong reboot, Kong: Skull Island, via a gorgeous teaser trailer from Comic-Con. Today, Warner Bros. have debuted the first, full length trailer for the film (via Jimmy Kimmel), so check it out below:
Kong: Skull Island was already one of my most anticipated films of 2017 but I'm more excited than ever now. Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts has previously mentioned that the film will feature the largest version of the monstrous ape that we've ever seen and this trailer certainly shows us that. We get our first proper look at the titular beast and he looks absolutely incredible (visually - that's some insane CGI) and truly terrifying at the same time, as do all the monsters we see teased here. The action (and surprising humour too) all looks great too and, pun very much intended, it seems like this is truly going to be one great, epic, exciting beast of a movie.

Accompanying the reveal, two stunning posters for Kong have also dropped. I love the old-fashioned style this film is going for, evident in the trailer but also these one-sheets. Oh, and, of course, both are dripping with style and beauty. The cinematography looks truly astounding and I have just loved everything we have seen from Skull Island thus far. I cannot wait!

Here's the film's official synopsis:
When a scientific expedition to an uncharted island awakens titanic forces of nature, a mission of discovery becomes an explosive war between monster and man. Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman and John C. Reilly star in a thrilling and original new adventure that reveals the untold story of how Kong became King.
