It was a big day at Comic-Con for Warner Bros; a lot of focus was on their forthcoming DC slate where they revealed trailers for films like Wonder Woman and Justice League. Other films like Kong: Skull Island and The Lego Batman Movie were also teased, as was Fantastic Beasts. A new trailer for the film was shown and has now arrived online. Check it out below:

It's no secret that I'm a massive Harry Potter films. I've read all the books and seen all the films several times each so perhaps it's a bit of bias or nostalgia or just the truth but Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them looks exceptional. Each and every new trailer for the spin-off is better than the last and the film just looks fun and exciting and magical; it captures the heart and wondrous tone of the Harry Potter franchise, but still feels like it stands on its own too. The action and the wizardry all looks so exciting and great too, and there's just some cool footage on offer here.

The cast and crew of the film were in attendance in Hall H, gushing over how great it is to be joining J.K Rowling's iconic and beloved Wizarding World, with Ezra Miller saying, "It's like getting your Hogwarts sweater late in the game. But you're still getting it." Scamander himself, Eddie Redmayne, was also there and handed out free wands to the entire audience and got all 7,000 or so people chanting "lumos maxima" to get more light into the room. Now, that's pretty freaking rad.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.  Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” also stars Katherine Waterston (“Steve Jobs,” “Inherent Vice”) as Tina; Tony Award winner Dan Fogler (“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”) as Jacob; Alison Sudol (“Dig,” “Transparent”) as Tina’s sister, Queenie; Ezra Miller (“Trainwreck”) as Credence; two-time Oscar nominee Samantha Morton (“In America,” “Sweet and Lowdown”) as Mary Lou; Oscar winner Jon Voight (“Coming Home,” TV’s “Ray Donovan”) as Henry Shaw, Sr.; Ron Perlman (the “Hellboy” films) as Gnarlack; Carmen Ejogo (“Selma”) as Seraphina; Jenn Murray (“Brooklyn”) as Chastity; young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty; and Colin Farrell (“True Detective”) as Percival Graves.
With David Yates at the helm, and starring Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens on November 18th, 2016.
