The first trailer for the Ghostbusters reboot generated a lot of controversy and sparked a lot of discussion on social media - it is the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube history. Now, trying to get more people on-board, a second trailer for the film has arrived and features some familiar faces!

This afternoon, Sony Pictures have debuted the new trailer for their forthcoming reboot and it's not too bad. There's a lot of reused footage but it's certainly a better reveal than what we saw a few months back with the first trailer. The film has the potential to be a lot of fun and the visuals and colours and energy are all great - if perhaps maybe not the jokes. There's certainly promise and I didn't mind the last trailer (it wasn't great though) so I'm remaining optimistic about this remake. The ingredients are there for a potentially decent reboot.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

Thirty years after the original film took the world by storm, Ghostbusters is back and fully rebooted for a new generation. Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world this summer!
With Paul Feig at the helm, and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth, Ghostbusters is set to hit cinemas this Summer, on July 15th, 2016.
