One of last year's biggest and best surprises in TV was the launch of Marvel's Netflix universe, with the incredible debut season of Daredevil. With the second season set to hit the streaming service this Friday, a final trailer has been released for the season, to give us one final kick of excitement.

"The battle has begun Matthew," warns Elodie Yung's newcomer Elektra Natchios. After bringing down Wilson Fisk, it seems as though Hell's Kitchen is still not at peace and the Daredevil have to fight yet again. We've seen a trailer focusing on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle - who will be one of the main opponents for our Man Without Fear this season - and one putting the spotlight on Yung's Elektra and with the show just a few days from returning, the heat is being turned up as talk of war and battles and fights rage on.

This evening, Netflix have debuted the final trailer for Daredevil Season 2 trailer and it is truly incredible. The first two traikers wrre character studies for both The Punisher and Elektra but this final reveal compacts it all into one and gives us a better look at all the action in-store for us come Friday. There's plenty of new footage and we get a much better look at some of the other threats our eponymous hero will face too - most notably, the hand - and this trailer just shows us that this season of the series is going to be dark, intense and action-packed. I cannot wait; it looks amazing. I also love the Mad Max: Fury Road style of the trailer.

Here's the season 2 official synopsis:
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios. Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
Daredevil: Season 2 will be available on Netflix on March 18th, 2016.
