Just over a week ago, Marvel and Netflix debuted the first trailer for the forthcoming second season to last year's smash-hit Daredevil. The reveal focused primarily on our hero's interaction with Jon Bernthal's vigilante The Punisher with promise of a trailer part 2 soon. Well, it has arrived and, this time, the spotlight is all on Elektra Natchios.

"There are horrible things happening in this city," says Charlie Cox's eponymous hero. "I'm done apologising to you for who I am." After bringing down Wilson Fisk, it seems as though Hell's Kitchen is still not at peace and the Daredevil have to fight yet again. Whilst Bernthal's Frank Castle will be one of the main opponents for Matt this season, this second trailer shows that he's going to be going up against a lot more than just The Punisher. However, it also shows that he won't be alone in the fight, but instead joined by Elodie Yung's Elektra - who gets the spotlight in this reveal.

This evening, Netflix have debuted the promised "Part 2" to the first Daredevil Season 2 trailer and it is amazing - dare I even say "elektric" (I apologise for the bad pun). We finally get a better look at Elodie Yung's character and a bit more of an idea as to how exactly she'll fit in the story, as well as plenty of new footage and this season of the show looks dark, gritty, action-packed and March 18th just can't come soon enough.

Here's the season 2 official synopsis:
Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios. Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
Daredevil: Season 2 will be available on Netflix on March 18th, 2016.
