It's a day full of trailers for sequels. We've seen ones for The Hunstman: Winter's War, Zoolander 2 and now, closing the show with some mighty fine tricks, is The Four Horsemen in the first trailer for the sequel to 2013's spellbinding magic, heist thriller Now You See Me: Now You See Me 2.

Back in 2013, Now You See Me took the charts by storm to become one of the year's biggest and best surprise, sleeper hits. A sequel was inevitable. And, sure enough, that's exactly what we're getting: more magic tricks and more big heists. I have to say, I really enjoyed the original film when it released a couple of years back. It was a refreshing twist on the heist film recipe and made for a big, stunning and pretty damn fun film.

This evening, Summit Entertainment have debuted the first trailer for the film's forthcoming sequel and it's dazzling and shiny and spectacular. The reveal doesn't give much away in terms of plot details but we get to see lots of new tricks and the huge, stellar ensemble is also shown off. The biggest takeaway from the trailer, however, comes right at the end with the reveal of newcomer Daniel Radcliffe - who'll take on the role of the first film's antagonist Michael Caine's son. Radcliffe may not be quite as good at magic as he was in the Harry Potter films but he looks a pretty cool, powerful character, nonetheless.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
THE FOUR HORSEMEN [Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan] return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe.
One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY [Daniel Radcliffe], a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet.
Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
With Jon M. Chu taking over the helm, and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Lizzy Caplan, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Daniel Radcliffe, Now You See Me: The Second Act opens on June 10th, 2016.
