Next year, Kevin Hart is set to reteam with Ice Cube for Ride Along 2, in which he'll return to play a cop. However, he'll also be joining forces with Dwayne Johnson as a CIA agent in next Summer's Central Intelligence - which has just received a first trailer, along with some first images and posters too.

Johnson is possibly one of my favourite actors working right now: likable, charismatic and just awesome. So far this year, he has already starred in box-office juggernaut Furious 7, disaster epic San Andreas and even a cameo role in Jem and the Holograms. And next year's looking big for the actor too, with Disney Animation's Moana and now, buddy-cop comedy Central Intelligence. Hart, however, will next be seen (or heard) in The Secret Life of Pets before reprising his role for Ride Along 2.
Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have unveiled the first trailer for the forthcoming film and it's absolutely hilarious. I have to say, I was a little skeptical for this, but the film looks great. The trailer is full of laughs and there seems to be good chemistry between Johnson and Hart too. Accompanying the reveal, a slew of first stills and posters for the comedy have also been released - putting the spotlight on the bromance between our leading stars.
Here's the film's official synopsis:
The story follows a one-time bullied geek who grew up to be a lethal CIA agent (Johnson), coming home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, he enlists the help of the former “big man on campus” (Hart), now an accountant who misses his glory days. But before the staid numbers-cruncher realizes what he’s getting into, it’s too late to get out, as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shoot-outs, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than he can count.
With Rawson Marshall Thurber at the helm, and starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Aaron Paul, Amy Ryan and Danielle NicoletCentral Intelligence is set to open on June 15th, 2016.
