One film, from last year, that I absolutely loved was the adaption of John Green's The Fault in Our Stars. Well, this year, we'll see the arrival of Paper Towns - another film adaption of one of Green's novels - and, today, the second trailer for the film has arrived and it's perfect. Literally. Perfection.

Paper Towns was such a great, nuanced read - amongst my favourite books growing up - and, from what we've seen so far, it seems like they've managed to do a brilliant job of capturing the story for the big screen. It looks like a lot of fun. Green's novels have taught me a lot and have inspired me a lot and I cannot stress enough how passionate I am about Paper Towns and about seeing it done right. I have high expectations but I think that Schreir is the perfect man for the job and I trust that he'll do a good job. It looks like he has done.

This evening, Fox have dropped the second trailer online for the project and it's awesome! I loved the first trailer but this one's even better. It's packed full of new footage and it's just so heartwarming and fun. I'm smiling like an idiot because of how much I loved the trailer.

I'm definitely excited for Paper Towns! It's hard not to fanboy, even a little. It's a book-to-film YA masterpiece, from what we can see anyway. All the iconic scenes look like they've captured so perfectly; the party scene where Ben gets drunk, the scene in the supermarket. I'm geeking out right now! SO PERFECT!

Here's the film's official synopsis:
Adapted from the bestselling novel by author John Green ("The Fault in Our Stars"), PAPER TOWNS is a coming-of-age story centring on Quentin and his enigmatic neighbour Margo, who loved mysteries so much she became one. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears--leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Quentin must find a deeper understanding of true friendship--and true love.
With Jake Schreir at the helm, and starring Nat Wolff, Cara Delevingne, Cara Buono, Halston Stage and more, Paper Towns will open, over in the US, on July 24th before reaching here, in the UK, on August 21st, 2015.
