Yesterday finally brought us the long awaited, long overdue title reveal for Mission Impossible 5 - titled Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - as well as a short (but packed) teaser trailer and poster (see all of that here). However, as promised, the full reveal has dropped online and, all I'll say is, hell yes.

This Summer is already chock full of superhero films, sequels, reboots and all sorts of other big blockbusters and the lineup is only increasing as Mission Impossible 5 joins the lineup. This evening, the film's first, official, full-length trailer has arrived and Ethan Hunt is back for Round 5, taking on The Syndicate and defying gravity and just being the badass that he is.

Despite being twice as long as yesterday's trailer tease (which was, essentially, just a shorter version of this reveal), plot details surrounding the follow-up to 2011's Ghost Protocol are still pretty slim. We know that Cruise and his group of friends will be going up against what is, basically, as Simon Pegg's Benji Dunn puts it, the "Anti-IMF", but that's about all we know really. We did, however, get a better look at the film's big sequence - in which Tom Cruise clings to the side of a plane as it takes off. Oh, did I also mention that he was the one that actually did the stunt during filming? It was epic.

Here's how Cruise, and director Christopher McQuarrie, described the plot:
The new flick finds Hunt’s highly effective but destructive Impossible Mission Force (IMF) disbanded by vengeful Washington bureaucrats such as the CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his team together (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson) to battle the shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive leader (Sean Harris).
With Jack Reacher director Christopher McQuarrie at the helm, and starring Tom CruiseSimon PeggJeremy RennerRebecca FergusonVing RhamesSean Harris and Alec BaldwinMission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation will hit cinemas in just a few months time, on July 31st, 2015.
