With its October release slowly, but surely, creeping up on us, the first bit of the promotional campaign for Bond 24, or should I say Spectre, has kicked off today as the film's teaser poster drops.

A lot of franchises hit the trilogy mark, with three instalments - The Dark Knight TrilogyLord of the Rings etc. Fewer surpass this and go onto fourth and fifth films - Transformers, even Toy Story soon. Even fewer hit or even pass seven - take Harry Potter or Star Wars, for example. Well, I think, only ONE franchise has had 23 previous instalments and is going onto its 24th.

Over 25 years since it began, having gone through several different James Bond's, we'll be welcoming the 24th (wow, that's a lot) Bond film very soon, Spectre. Today, it has received a teaser poster and, I'll be honest, it's simple but cool. Bond looks like a man on a mission. Sam Mendes returns at the helm, for this, after his 2012 Skyfall was the biggest and best reviewed Bond film to release.

Craig will be reprising his role as Bond, Spectre will mark his fourth outing as the iconic agent, and he'll be joined by Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Andrew Scott as Denbigh, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and Christopher Waltz as Oberhauser. It's thought that Oberhauser will be the leader of Spectre. They'll join other returning cast members Ben WhishawNaomie HarrisRalph Fiennes and Rory Kinnear.

Personally, I'm excited for this film. The ensemble cast is made up of such wonderfully talented and just great actors so I'm excited to see what they bring to what is, already, such a renowned, poignant franchise. With Sam Mendes at the helm, Craig as Bond (he's my favourite one) and all these actors on-board, Spectre is shaping up to be a good film when it hits the UK on October 23rd, 2015, before reaching the U.S, on November 6th, 2015.
