This Summer is already chock full of superhero films, sequels, reboots and all sorts of other big blockbusters and the lineup is only increasing as Mission Impossible 5 joins the lineup. Well, this evening, it has received and official title, teaser trailer and first poster.

Ethan Hunt is back for Round 5 in the short (but damn awesome) teaser trailer for the fifth instalment in the Mission Impossible franchise, now revealed as being titled Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. In fact, it isn't even the full thing. It's just a tease for the full, actual Rogue Nation trailer which will be dropping tomorrow - Monday 23rd March. However, unlike the majority of trailer teases, this one actually shows us some footage from the reveal and it's an epic, intense, action-packed 1 minute.

Accompanying the tease, the first poster for the follow-up to 2011's Ghost Protocol has landed and it's pretty damn cool, featuring a shot of this film's big stunt (which was also briefly shown at the end of the teaser) - in which Tom Cruise clings to the side of a plane as it takes off. Oh, did I also mention that he was the one that actually did the stunt during filming? As far as the title goes though, Rogue Nation - as Simon Pegg's Benji Dunn puts it - is the "Anti-IMF", the Syndicate. Other than that though, very little is known about the film.

Here's how Cruise, and director Christopher McQuarrie, described the plot:
The new flick finds Hunt’s highly effective but destructive Impossible Mission Force (IMF) disbanded by vengeful Washington bureaucrats such as the CIA chief (played by Alec Baldwin). But Hunt pulls his team together (Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson) to battle the shadowy force known as “The Syndicate” and its elusive leader (Sean Harris).
With Jack Reacher director Christopher McQuarrie at the helm, and starring Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving RhamesSean Harris and Alec Baldwin, Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation will hit cinemas in just a few months time, on July 31st, 2015. The first, full-length trailer will debut in 24 hours so stay tuned here for that.
