30 years since he last took to the big screen and Mad Max is ready to head back to the big-screen. Well, Fury Road has a MAD new trailer that will have you excited for his return. Very excited!!!

Recently, marketing for the majority of major 2015 releases has gone underway - with the release of trailers and posters etc - and, now, to leap back into the race, making sure it wasn't forgotten, next year's Max Max: Fury Road has gone and gotten a new trailer and... wow, it's simply insane.

The first trailer for this released back at Comic-con, earlier this year. I'll be honest, I never wrote about it because I just never bothered watching it. Fury Road just didn't appeal to me and even though the trailer was so well-received, I didn't care about it enough to go out of my way to watch the teaser (not very good for a film reporter, I know). However, I realise that was a mistake.

Today, a new trailer for the film released and, whilst I didn't care about it again, I thought that I might as well watch it just to see what it looked like and to see what all the fuss was about. Well, it is two and a half minutes of just mass AWESOMENESS! This was such a glorious trailer. I adored it, I really did and from not giving a shit about it, Mad Max: Fury Road has become one of my most anticipated films of next year.

From the start to the finish, the outburst of sweet CG effects, the spills to the thrills and just the slew of chaos and destruction, this is probably the greatest reveal to have released this year. Fury Road looks insane, wonderful and just like a load of fun! Also, the music accompanying this works so well too.
I just love it; everything about it and I'm more than excited to see it when it opens next Summer.

Replacing Mel Gibson - from the original films - as our eponymous lead, Max Rockatanaky, is none other than Tom Hardy. Having starred in Locke, The Drop and even season 2 of Peaky Blinders, 2014 has been a busy year for the actor and things are only going to get busier - he has many, MANY projects currently in the works, with the likes of Child 44, Splinter Cell, Fury Road and lots more. He was also recently announced to star in David Ayer's forthcoming DC project Suicide Squad.

With Mad Max 1, 2 and Beyond Thunderdome helmet George Miller returning to the director's chair for this and starring Tom HardyCharlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, ZoĆ« Kravitz, Riley Keough and more, Mad Max: Fury Road will explode into cinemas on May 15th, 2015. I know, for sure, I'll be lining up on day one for this one.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life.
Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order… There’s Max (played by TOM HARDY from The Dark Knight Rises), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos.
And… Furiosa (played by CHARLIZE THERON from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.
