The wait is finally over as the first FULL trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is upon us and it comes wings swinging, arrows shooting because, damn, it was worth the wait.

Only a couple of months remain until one of the most anticipated films of the year shoots into cinemas and the first trailer for it has only just arrived now.

We got a teaser back at Comic-Con, which didn't giveaway much but left us full of excitement, and, just the other day, we got our first full look at Katniss, kitted out in her awesome Mockingjay outfit, as we had barely seen her up until then.

After lots of hype and anticipation and teasing from Lionsgate, the brand new The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 trailer has finally been unleashed and it's in full and it gives us our best look at what's in store for us, later this year, and this looks like it's going to be just as good, if not better, than what we've seen before in the franchise.

We've had to wait a while for this one, just like we had to wait for Katniss' full reveal, but it's safe to say that the clich├ęd 'it's worth the wait' fits the bill perfectly here. This trailer is REMARKABLY EPIC, action packed and definitely has me even more excited for this film when it opens in November.

Part 1 of the epic 2 part finale is set to arrive in cinemas on November 21st. Catching Fire, the predecessor to this, was 2013's highest grossing film and one of my favourites to release from last year so my expectations for this are high.

Here's the films official synopsis:
The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
