'I am Groot'
The wait is finally over as the second trailer for Marvel's highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy crashes in, packed FULL of new footage and it's rather glorious.

The film is gearing up to be BIG and whilst teasing has been low, it's been made up for in the past week as we've received a brand new, kick-ass poster (below), some trailer teasers and now, of course, the second full-length trailer for the galactic extravaganza.
This film is looking like it's going to be... wait for it... out of this world (oh yes I did) and with it's humour, CGI galore and ace cast it's looking like it's going to be bigger and better than anything Marvel have dished out before.

Here's the film's official synopsis:
From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

If the first trailer for Guardians wasn't a good enough introduction to the team of misfits and random assortments then this one, with it's action and craziness is.

Blue Suede’s Hooked On A Feeling was the featured track last time round and whilst it make its way onto the trailer towards the end, this time the focus is on Norman Greenbuam’s Spirit In The Sky as Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill makes something more of the crew he is forced to hang with.

We also get our first listen to Vin Diesel's CGI Groot, with his trademark 'I am Groot' and Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon with his rage and anger. We also get a wider peek at the universe this crew inhabits, along with the initial glimpse of Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael who is none too happy with the Guardians.

The trailer is amazing and thrilling and has made me even more excited for the spectacle that is Gunn's Guardians and I look forward to seeing it when it hits cinemas on 8th August 2014.
So, without furtherado, here is the new trailer which you can watch as much as you like. You're welcome.
